On Friday after work I took the train to Breda and rode Bromp 2.46km from the train station to my guesthouse. On Saturday I biked 117km (27.9 in the Netherlands and the rest in Belgium), with strong headwind, from Breda to Brussels via Antwerpen and Mechelen. One Belgian windmill and no Dutch ones!
On Sunday I biked 1.9km to the train station to meet up with my friend Rich who came for the occasion from Paris. We rented a bike for him and rode a 39.6km loop (with 380m of ascents) through Brussels together. We were extremely lucky! Once a year Brussels has a "car free day", and completely by chance, it was today! So the streets were full of bands and parades and other cyclists.
