With Itai, about 19km canoeing.
The day started wrong - we were going to use my 2-person inflatable kayak, which is not a lot better than a toy. Very quickly it turned out to have a flat in one of its compartments, and just a few hundred meters in, we had to turn back. Fortunately, just before, when I was leaving my bike at the ending point, I saw that there was a nice canoe/kayak rental store right there. So we drove there, rented a canoe (over $150!), and they gave us a ride back to the starting point.
Truth is, with two people, canoes are more fun than kayaks. They are bigger and there's no issue with the paddles hitting each other if they are not in sync. So we had fun! Plus the day was lovely, and the fall colours, amazing. A funny moment was when we passed uninvited by a river-side wedding at precisely the "groom may now kiss the bride" moment.
Photography, unfortunately, doesn't mix well with being in motion in a boat. The sights were better than their photos show.
