3.2km kayaking (paddling Karolina) from Honey Harbour to Beausoleil Island, then 16.5km hiking on the island, then 5km paddling back to the starting point by a different path, on a mixed weather day: some rain, some cloud, some sun.
The bad: I didn't plan for the bugs. So I swatted about 1,000 flies, and made blood donations to perhaps another 3,000. Learn more.
The good: I found an amazing lunch and swim spot, on a rock outcropping by the lake and away from the trees (no bugs!), with not a soul around.
