I was in a conference in Siegen back in 2001, and I am in a conference in Bonn this week, so it made sense to ride from one to the other. 87.7km with 1,010 meters of climbs, on a beautiful day!
Then on the train back I realized I had time and energy left, so I skipped the tram part of the route back and instead added a second short ride, from the Siegburg/Bonn train station to my hotel in Bonn proper. Another 13.9km and 60m of climbs, to a total of 101.6km/1,070m.
